I used Figma to create high-fidelity mockups, AR/VR UI components, that reflected the VisionOS environment. With built-in tools like auto layout, variants, I could simulate user interactions and transitions, which helped bring the immersive experience to life. Figma empowered me to visualize, test, and refine the user journey.

Front Row Experience—From Anywhere in the World

With live-streamed runway shows in VR, you no longer need to be physically present at NYFW. Whether you’re in Paris, Tokyo, or Los Angeles, you can step into a virtual front-row seat and witness designers’ latest collections in real-time, from any time zone. No more time constraints—watch at your convenience and never miss a moment

Try Before You Buy—Virtual Fitting & AR Lookbooks

Imagine using augmented reality (AR) to try on the newest designs from top fashion houses in real time. Through VisionOS, you can see how an outfit fits your style, body type, and preferences without physically being in a store. This eliminates geographical barriers, making fashion more inclusive and accessible

Interactive Shopping—Seamless Connection to Designers

Instead of passively watching the runway, you can interact with collections in real-time. Hover over a garment with AR touchpoints to learn about fabric details, styling suggestions, and even purchase options. This creates an engaging and informed shopping experience that bridges the gap between the runway and the consumer

Explore legendary collections, view archived designer pieces, and experience the evolution of fashion over the decades—all in an interactive virtual world.

Problems Solved for NYFW Guests Using Apple VisionOS AR/VR

Limited Front-Row Access
Problem: Fashion shows have exclusive seating, and not everyone gets a front-row experience to see the intricate details of the designs.

Solution: Virtual front-row seating in VisionOS VR gives everyone a premium, up-close view of the runway, allowing guests to see textures, patterns, and craftsmanship in high resolution.

No Way to Try On Looks Instantly

Problem: Seeing an outfit on the runway doesn’t always translate to how it fits in real life, making it hard for buyers, stylists, and consumers to visualize styling.

Solution: Virtual try-ons using AR allow guests to see how outfits look on their own body in real-time, making decision-making easier for both buyers and consumers

Conclusion

Apple VisionOS revolutionizes how guests experience NYFW, solving accessibility, engagement, and interaction barriers by making fashion more inclusive, immersive, and interactive. Whether it’s attending a show from across the world, trying on outfits virtually, or reliving past runway moments, this technology brings the runway experience directly to the user—anytime, anywhere
